No. Any browser-capable device will do — a smart TV, an HDMI stick, a Raspberry Pi, a spare laptop. Open the display URL in full-screen and you're running.
Yes. Create the playlist once and assign it to as many displays as you like. Each display has its own URL and slug, but they'll all loop the same content. Updates fan out to every screen on the next poll.
The display URL is publicly reachable by anyone who knows the slug, which is random and at least 16 characters long. You can optionally put a password on a display URL. For sensitive content, rotate the slug whenever you want to invalidate old shares.
The player caches the most recent playlist. A short outage is invisible — the loop keeps playing. When the connection comes back, the player picks up any updates on its next poll.
Yes. Plans are per workspace and you can change tier at any time. Existing content and displays stay put when you switch plans; only the limits you face going forward change.
